Rademacher is a well-known and sought-after German brand, with a distinctive logo of a graceful R.

The Rademacher company was founded by engineer Ernst Rademacher in 1914 as a trading company and started producing work lamps in 1920. In addition to workbench lamps, they have also created many scissor lamps. Ernst Rademacher died in the early 1950s, and his wife Hanna Rademacher received the patents. Rademacher lamps were initially produced mainly for workshops but were also advised by architects as interior lighting.

The brand (or perhaps better said, the brand name) has remained active all these years and has been part of Schmidt-Strahl GmbH in Meerbusch since 2018. This company is mainly focused on outdoor lighting.
